Caroline Wagner
College Advisor and Research Specialist
Caroline Wagner brings a deep understanding of the college experience and what helps students thrive once they arrive on campus. At Midwest College Consulting, she enjoys working closely with students and families to identify opportunities that position each student for a thoughtful, successful college search.
Caroline’s perspective is shaped by years of experience working with college students on their academic and extracurricular journeys. She spent six years at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where she worked with both undergraduate and graduate admissions, evaluating applicants for the school’s highly regarded business program. Her work at UVA, across both academic and student-facing offices, gave her insight into how admissions decisions are made and what helps students succeed once they are on campus.
Because of this background, Caroline encourages students to pursue meaningful academic interests while also building experiences outside the classroom that reflect curiosity, leadership, and personal growth.
Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Leadership from The Ohio State University. She also holds a Master of Education from the College of William & Mary and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Virginia. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two young children.
